Fees and Scholarships

The cost of the program is US $595 per person.

If you're finding this course less than 3 weeks before the start date, we offer a $100 discount to anyone who signs up for one of our free LOMSC Introductory Sessions. If interested, you can sign up here.

A limited number of scholarships are available. You can apply for a scholarship using the LOMSC Scholarship Application.  Places will be offered in  the order application forms are received. Places are confirmed once payment is received. (Please note that scholarships are based on personal financial need, separate from being financially over-extended or over-committed.)

Psychologists: Continuing Education Credit for this program is provided by UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This course offers 23.0 CE credit. California licensed MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, LCSWs: Continuing Education Credit for this program is provided by UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. 23.0 CE credit may be applied to your license renewal through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. For those licensed outside California, please check with your local licensing board to determine if CE credit is accepted. Nurses: UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP16351, for 27.5 CE credit.

Raphael Jay Adjani

Dr Raphael Jay Adjani MBACP Pronouns: (they/them) Raphael is a Certified Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion. They are highly experienced in teaching both online and in-person. Raphael is experienced in teaching Mindful Self-Compassion with people from diverse cultures around the world. Their teaching draws on life experience of mindfulness, common humanity and self-compassion as well as their wider relevant professional experience. Mindful Self-Compassion is a course they love and they are passionate about sharing it. As an Integrative Psychotherapist in private practice, they support people experiencing bereavement, trauma, sexual abuse, depression, addiction, stress, anxiety, identity challenges such as gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship diversity, and challenges of discrimination and other issues of diversity, such as race, disability and the experience of being a refugee. They enable people from young children, teenagers, as well as young, middle and advanced age adults; from many nationalities around the world. They utilize and integrate range of therapeutic modalities, including Mindfulness and Compassion based approaches, Existential Psychotherapy, Buddhist Psychotherapy, Yoga, Creative Art, Creative Writing, Dance, Play Therapy, and Ecotherapy, fostering connection with the natural world. They also work with people of all professional sectors including: Creative, Corporate, Education, Health, Community.
