Fees and Scholarships

The cost of the program is US $595 per person.

If you're finding this course less than 3 weeks before the start date, we offer a $100 discount to anyone who signs up for one of our free LOMSC Introductory Sessions. If interested, you can sign up here.

A limited number of scholarships are available. You can apply for a scholarship using the LOMSC Scholarship Application.  Places will be offered in  the order application forms are received. Places are confirmed once payment is received. (Please note that scholarships are based on personal financial need, separate from being financially over-extended or over-committed.)

Continuing Education for Participants in the US

Psychologists: Continuing Education Credit for this program is provided by UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This course offers 23.0 CE credit. California licensed MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, LCSWs: Continuing Education Credit for this program is provided by UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. 23.0 CE credit may be applied to your license renewal through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. For those licensed outside California, please check with your local licensing board to determine if CE credit is accepted. Nurses: UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP16351, for 27.5 CE credit. 

Fees for CE credit: $75  *Must attend all classes live to receive credits.

Cancellation Policy

Course registration fees will be refunded or transferred to future dates if a cancellation occurs up to 2 weeks before a course begins. To process any refund, there will be a $50 dollar fee charged by the system. The refund will only be for tuitions fee, and any miscellaneous expenses incurred related to this course will not be refunded.

A 50% refund or the option to transfer to a future class will be offered if canceling up to a week before a course begins. No refunds can be offered if canceling later than a week before the course begins (except on compassionate grounds for extenuating circumstances).

Raphael Jay Adjani

Certified Teacher - Thailand

Raphael Jay Adjani PhD MBACP, is a Certified Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion: experienced in teaching both online and in-person. Raphael is also:- ⁃ Integrative Psychotherapist: utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, including mindfulness and self-compassion, creative art, dance, play therapy, and ecological processes. -Undertaking LGBTQ+ focused one-to-one therapy as well as teaching mindfulness and compassion based wellness programs for British mental helath organization Rainbow Mind. ⁃ Experienced Teacher of other mindfulness and compassion focused programs, such as Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness for Health, Mindfulness for Stress, and Radical Self-Care. In their work as a therapist, life development coach, and teacher of MSC, Raphael is particularly attuned to working with and embracing people from diverse backgrounds across the world. This diversity embraces but is not limited to: race, ethnicity, color, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship diversity, disability, and people living at an intersection of several of these.
