Fees and Scholarships

The cost of the program is US $595 per person and since we really want you to experience LOMSC, we are offering an Early Bird discount code (earlylomsc) that gives $100 off if you register at least 3 weeks before the class start date!

If you're finding this course less than 3 weeks before the start date, we offer a $100 discount to anyone who signs up for one of our free LOMSC Introductory Sessions. If interested, you can sign up here.

A limited number of scholarships are available. You can apply for a scholarship using the LOMSC Scholarship Application.  Places will be offered in  the order application forms are received. Places are confirmed once payment is received. (Please note that scholarships are based on personal financial need, separate from being financially over-extended or over-committed.)

Continuing Education for Participants in the US

Psychologists: Continuing Education Credit for this program is provided by UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This course offers 23.0 CE credit. California licensed MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, LCSWs: Continuing Education Credit for this program is provided by UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. 23.0 CE credit may be applied to your license renewal through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. For those licensed outside California, please check with your local licensing board to determine if CE credit is accepted. Nurses: UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP16351, for 27.5 CE credit.

Cancellation Policy

Course registration fees will be refunded or transferred to future dates if a cancellation occurs up to 2 weeks before a course begins. To process any refund, there will be a $50 dollar fee charged by the system. The refund will only be for tuitions fee, and any miscellaneous expenses incurred related to this course will not be refunded.

A 50% refund or the option to transfer to a future class will be offered if canceling up to a week before a course begins. No refunds can be offered if canceling later than a week before the course begins (except on compassionate grounds for extenuating circumstances).

Meet Your Teacher

Rose Mina Munjee

Certified Teacher

Rose Mina Munjee is a Registered Psychotherapist in private practice, experienced, certified mindfulness teacher, mentor, corporate trainer, craniosacral therapist, and therapeutic yoga/mindful movement teacher. She teaches at the Center for Mindful Self Compassion (COP - BIPOC, LOMSC, LOTT), Centre for Mindfulness Studies (Professional, Personal, Community Programs), University of Toronto (New College, BPMH - Mindfulness Informed Interventions for Mental Health), and is a managing director at Mindful Wellness. Rose Mina facilitates evidence-based mindfulness programs including MBSR, MBCT, and MSC. She is also develops curriculum with a culturally sensitive and trauma informed lens. She has a private practice and does clinical work in trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and psychotherapy. Rose Mina has written for several peer reviewed journals and is conducting mindfulness research on racism, oppression, and pedagogy for adult education. She has a Master’s in Spiritual Care and Buddhist Studies with Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto, and is completing a PhD (ABD) in Education at Reading University in the UK.
